Scorpion
Flesh searing sting
of the scorpion
inflicted on my grasping hand.
Throbbing stigmata,
poison spreading from an aching palm.
Master of the ambush
your shape inspires hate
you hide in folds of devil robes
you strike the weary, weak and old.
Tongue tingling fear,
insidious flames,
pierce the sky and spill hot rain,
fill canals with pain.
Discordant treble clef,
creeping symphony of stealth
Cold mahogany violin
your music takes the maidens breath.
paralysis inflicted
Im a stiff fish, speared
by the fire hardened trident,
claws, tail, death.
